We are actively seeking new employees who will work hand-in-hand with our team to reach the next stage of becoming a leading insurance provider. This means we are inviting Rwanda’s top talent to join as new team members. The ideal team members are motivated young graduates who have achieved excellent results at top schools, and who are accomplished in math and statistics.
If you have entrepreneurial flair, are willing to try your hand at new endeavours while leading a team and also on your own, are open-minded and willing to express your opinion, then we would love to hear from you. We are looking for outgoing individuals who consistently strive for excellence and who work well within a team. Previous insurance experience is not required.
The first phase is a period of exploration and discovery. Graduate trainees spend three to six months in each division – Sales & Marketing, Finance and Operations. From this experience you will have the chance to select the area in which you wish to learn, grow and develop with Prime.
If you are selected for this program, you will be part of a ‘fast and furious’ graduate program team. This team has earned a reputation of being results-oriented, open-minded, keen to learn, quick to understand, not afraid of hard work, confident enough to question and committed to always delivering on time, to cost and to top notch quality, without fail.
This is a 10- to 12-month program for outstanding university graduates who are passionate about building their career prospects with Prime, a forward-looking and visionary company.
The 10 to 12-month program is an action-learning program. The trainee rotates through the various business divisions, enabling them to fully understand the business. Added value one-to-one mentorship and coaching from senior management also forms part of the program. Towards the end of the program, a trainee is selected to take up a challenging position as a junior manager within our organisation once they complete their training.
We seek highly ambitious, responsible recent university graduates with an impressive amount of drive and a degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Marketing, Human Resources and/or other key disciplines:
Prime interns do not need a particular course of study or degree because the needs of each department (IT, Marketing, Legal, HR, Insurance, Accounting, Statistics etc.) are diverse and different. But interns must have an educational or professional background that is suitably aligned with Prime’s work ethic. Interns must also have at least a first degree from a recognized higher institution, scoring a second-class honours as a minimum. Interns must be fluent in English and computer savvy.
Internships last for at least six weeks and a maximum of three months. In exceptional cases, Prime may choose to offer internships of less than six weeks or extend the duration for more than three months.
